Blackberry syrup is an extraordinarily luxurious blend of ripe blackberries, water, and sugar that makes things taste even better. This cocktail goes smooth and the drink is like a punch. The taste is lively, refreshing, and not too sweet. However, if you like your drink sweeter, you can add a little blackberry syrup to your liking.

Ingredients For Blackberry Pineapple Rum Cocktail:

Dark Rum
Grand Marnier
Pineapple Juice
Lime Juice
Fresh Blackberries
Granulated sugar
Water
Iced
Mint leaves

How to Make:

Place the fresh blackberries, sugar, and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Let it boil while stirring. Turn off the heat, and let it cool. Use a muddler or fork to break up the blackberries. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks or until serving time.

Pour the dark rum, Grand Marnier, blackberry syrup, lime juice, pineapple juice, and ice cubes to taste into the cocktail shaker. Beat until combined. Pour into a serving glass that has been filled with ice cubes before. Garnish with fresh mint leaves, blackberries, and lime wedges.

  • ½ oz Grand Marnier

  • 1 oz Pineapple Juice

  • ½ oz fresh Lime Juice

  • 6 oz fresh Blackberries

  • 1 cup Granulated sugar

  • ½ cup Water

  • Iced to taste

  • Blackberries and Mint leaves
