Brownie Christmas Trees is a delicious and beautiful dessert. This Christmas tree-like dessert made by stacking brownies and then topping it with green frosting will be loved by everyone, especially children.

Brownie Trees:

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup unsalted butter

  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

  • small round sprinkles and small yellow star sprinkles for decorating

  • GREEN FROSTING:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • ½ tablespoon whole milk

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • pinch of fine salt

  • some drop green food coloring

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a baking sheet with butter or parchment paper.
  • Prepare several medium-sized bowls. In the first bowl for the wet dough, add unsalted butter, granulated sugar, vanilla, and eggs. Mix well. In a second bowl for dry dough, add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir until well blended. Pour over the first wet mixture, beat until all ingredients are combined. Transfer to a non-stick baking sheet and bake brownies for 40 minutes or until the brownies begin to harden around the edges. You can try by pulling the toothpick that is inserted in the middle of the brownie out clean. Transfer the brownies to a cooling rack, and let them cool for 1 hour. Once cool, cut the brownies using 3 different circular cookie cutters.
  • Put powdered sugar, unsalted butter, and a pinch of fine salt into the mixer, beat at low speed until well blended. Add the vanilla extract and increase the speed to medium-high and stir until smooth. Occasionally add the whole milk gradually and slowly then color it with some drop green food coloring, and stir again at medium speed for 1 minute until the mixture is mixed and the green color appears. Transfer to a piping bag and fill the bag with green frosting.
  • After all the ingredients are ready, we are ready to assemble and decorate them. Place the biggest brownie first, press the piping bag gently until the frosting comes out, then stack the second brownie with the smaller size than before. Repeat by filling it with green frosting on top. Place the last brownie on the smallest size and sprinkle the last brownie with frosting that resembles the top of the Christmas tree. Add a star on top of it and sprinkle small round sprinkles around it. Brownie Christmas Trees are ready to be served to enjoy.
