Root Beer itself is a fizzy drink with a distinctive sweet taste and is very delicious to eat when the weather is hot. Root beer connoisseurs often add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to enrich the flavor of the root beer and make the consistency thicker. The combination of root beer and ice cream is commonly called the Root Beer Float. Apart from that, some people also add Hot Fudge Root Beer to further enrich the taste

Ingredients Needed And How To Make Hot Fudge:

1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup boiling water or scalding milk or hot heavy cream
2 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon of butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
pinch of salt

Combine granulated sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, flour, and salt in a bowl over a double pan. Slowly add boiling water or boiling milk or hot heavy cream and stirring constantly until the mixture thickens or the mixture reaches the desired consistency. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla extract. Pour the mixture into a nonstick pan and keep it in the refrigerator for a few hours. Once cool, cut into small squares.

2 bottles A&W Root Beer
2 cups Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream
a few pieces of Hot Fudge

Spoon 2 tablespoons of Dreyer Ice Cream into several serving glasses. Sprinkle the fudge on top. Then root the A&W beer until the ice cream is covered. Add another scoop of ice cream to the top, then sprinkle the hot fudge on top.

  • 2 bottles A&W Root Beer

  • 2 cups Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 cup boiling water or scalding milk or hot heavy cream

  • 2 tablespoon flour

  • 1 tablespoon of butter

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • pinch of salt

Directions

  • First start making Hot Fudge by mixing granulated sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, flour, and salt in a bowl above a double boiler. Slowly add boiling water or scalding milk or hot heavy cream and stirring constantly until the mixture thickens or the mixture reaches the desired consistency.   • For serving. Spoon 2 tablespoons of Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream into several serving glasses. Sprinkle the fudge on top. Then root beer A&W until the ice cream is covered. Add another scoop of ice cream to the top, then sprinkle the hot fudge on top.
