Christmas Hot Chocolate Booms are the perfect dessert that you can serve on Christmas Eve. This dessert, which you can also make as a snack, consists of thin chocolate balls that contain marshmallows and cocoa powder. Not only that, what makes it so popular is the exploding sensation of Hot Chocolate Bomb when put in hot milk. Hot Chocolate Booms are the perfect dessert that you can serve on Christmas Eve. Ingredients

  • 1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 package instant cocoa mix

  • 1 bag chocolate melts for decorating

  • 6 cups hot milk to make the bombs

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

  • 1 cup caramel bits

  • 1 cup toffee bits

  • ¼ cup white chocolate chips

  • Round silicone mold

Directions

  • Place the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds or until the chocolate chips are completely melted. Stir occasionally between these times.
  • Get around silicone mold and pour about 1 spoon of melted chocolate on top, use the back of the spoon to spread the chocolate over the sides of the mold and spread it evenly. Do it on all your silicone molds. Store in the refrigerator for 3 hours or until the chocolate is completely set.
  • Remove each piece of chocolate from the mold. Sprinkle hot cocoa powder on the dome of each mold, adding a dash of instant hot chocolate mixture to the top half and the hot chocolate mix with mini marshmallows and a few extra toppings. When the dome fills up, use the remaining melted chocolate and cover the bottom of the dome. Do this on all silicone molds or until the material runs out. If desired, fill each dome with different toppings. Store in the freezer for 1 hour or until the chocolate is completely set.
  • While waiting for the chocolate to harden, we make the topping. Melt chocolate melts, caramel bits, toffee bits, and white chocolate chips in 4 different resistant bowls. Microwave for 15 seconds each. Pour 1 spoon of topping over the hard chocolate. Store again in the freezer for 20 minutes until the chocolate boom is ready to serve.
