Ingredients

  • 2 slightly overripe bananas, cut into ½ inch

  • 2 tablespoons honey or sugar

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg

Directions

  • Place the cinnamon, nutmeg, butter, and honey in a skillet over medium-high heat and allow it to melt and combine. Reduce the heat and add the sliced bananas to 1/2 inch. Stir continuously and occasionally turn the banana over so it doesn’t burn. Cook for about 8 minutes or until the bananas turn golden brown and the sauce has a caramel texture. Transfer to a serving plate and serve with ice cream or yogurt, on top.
