Spicy Fried Chicken Tenders are one of the perfect dishes for snacks when gathering with family or friends to enjoy time in the corona season like this. A dish of spicy chicken with rich spices will add flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken tenders

  • 4 cups of vegetable oil

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup buttermilk

  • ¼ cup hot sauce

  • 2 teaspoons paprika

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • ½ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

  • salt and white pepper to taste

Directions

  • Heat the oil for 10 minutes to about 350F / 175C.
  • Combine chicken with buttermilk, hot sauce, salt, and white pepper to taste. Place in a closed container and store in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  • Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine flour, cayenne pepper, paprika, baking powder, onion powder, and garlic powder, and salt to taste. Coat the chicken pieces with the dry mixture, namely the flour mixture. Press the dough directly into the chicken so that it is thoroughly and evenly coated in flour.
  • Carefully fry the chicken in the preheated oil. Fry for 3 minutes or until the chicken begins to turn golden, turning occasionally. Remove, drain with paper towels under it. Leave it until the oil is absorbed or until the chicken looks dry.
